Momo's Tuesday Challenge ~ Lady Bug Card

I made this card for the challenge going on over at Momo's. For this challenge you just had to use the colors black, white, and one other color.
The ladybugs are from the DoodleCharms cartridge cut at 2in. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

(This is the inside of the card.)
The border is cut using my Threading Water punch. I punched both sides of a thin scrap piece. I meant to line the holes up and only have one hole but clearly I was off a little. I liked how it looked but then I added stickles to it there by ruining it. (oh well, I'll still use it.)
Hope you all are having a great Tuesday!

Wacky Wednesday Challenge ~ Congrats Card

I am entering this card into the Wacky Wednesday Challenge going on over at More Than Favors. This is my first time participating in one of their challenges. For this challenge you had to do anything with a sports theme. It doesn't matter the color or project.
So this is what I came up with to enter. This card is made using Every Day Paper Dolls Cartridge. The mat paper is from DCWV Glitter Stack.

Here is the inside of the card. I used SU blue ink on the sentiment.
I kept this card pretty simple without any ribbon or major embellishments since it's for my brother. (but I did add some Stickles to the "Congrats". I couldn't help myself. :) Enjoy and have a great Sunday!

Throwback Thursday Challenge - Tinker Bell Card

This card is for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge. For this challenge you were to use the Tinker Bell cartridge if you had it, but if you do not have it you just had to made a Princess project.

I made this for my little niece Isabelle for her 6th Birthday.
she LOVES Tinker Bell!!
I used lots of Stickles on the paper and also on her wings. I traced her hair with my yellow Martha Stewart glitter marker, made the border with my Threading water punch and tied a quick bow. I hope you all enjoy and have a great Friday!!

Wedding Card ~ Wild Card Cartridge

I've had a really hard time crafting these last 2 weeks. I can't seem to get anything to come out the way I want it to. so today I decided to go through pictures of my cards to get some inspiration and I run across this card I made a little while ago for a friends wedding. I though that I'd forgotten to take a picture of the card before giving it to her. I'm so glad I was wrong because I love how this card came out.

For this card I used the Wild Card cartridge, I embossed the pink paper with my Divine Swirls folder, added ultra fine glitter to the white pieces, used flowers I found in my stash, and added baby pearls from Michael's. It was a very simple card to do and my friend loved it.
I hope you all enjoy and have a great day! :)

P.s. Sorry the picture is so dark.
I don't know what I was thinking when I took it.

Throwback Thursday Challenge - Frame it!

This card is for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. For this challenge you had to turn one of the images into a frame and the cartridge she wanted you to use was Paper Doll Dress Up. I chose the Santa bag for my frame. I cut the image twice then on the top layer I used a 1 in Stampin' Up circle punch to make the frame, then used a Stamp from Michael's for the HO,HO,HO.
Here is a close up. I also used Candy Cane, and Black Diamond Stickles on the bag.
Hope you all enjoy and have a great Friday! :)

Create a Critter Challenge ~ Penguin Card

I made this card for a challenge going on over at Card Creations & More By C.
This is her very first time hosting a challenge So I think everyone should go on over and support her. :)
For this challenge you needed to make something with a critter theme. I decided to go with the penguin from the Create a Critter Cartridge. I've never used the penguin before but then I realized I had that face stamp from Peachy Keen and just had to use it. :) I love how she came out!
I welded 2 igloos together to make a shaped card and added the penguin to the front.

For the sentiment I used my Scrappy Moms Stamps. This stamp is not a curved stamp it actually goes straight across I just curved it on my acrylic block and stamped it really fast before the tension made it unstick.
I had so much fun making this card. Hope you all enjoy it and have a great day. :)

Miss you Card ~ Preserves Cartridge

Good morning everyone!
I have been thinking about one of my sisters a lot lately and I can't seem to get her off my mind so this morning I decided to make her a card. :) For this A2 sized card I decided to use the preserves cartridge. I cut the grapes at 3 3/4 in, used my Martha Stewart Quilt punch, added faux stitching, and ribbon from my stash.
(Inside of card.)
I really love the Fruit and Veggie Puns from My Pink Stamper but haven't been able to buy them yet so instead I printed my sentiment from my computer. All the papers have been inked with brown ink. I really like how this card came out and hope you enjoy it as well.
Have a great day! :)

P.s. I want to thank all of you for leaving such sweet and wonderful comments on my projects and updates. I really do enjoy them, they make my day!! :)

Throwback Thursday Challenge #9 ~ Scrapbook LO

I made this layout for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. For this challenge you were supposed to do "Back to School" and use the Paisley cartridge.

Back to School means new clothes for school so I decided to do a 8.5x11 layout for my daughter modeling her new school clothes.

For safety reasons I have not added the pictures yet.

I hope you enjoy and have a great day! :)

You Rock! Card ~ Rock Princess Cartridge

I got this cartridge in the mail yesterday and I absolutely love it! It has fun fonts and great images and they're not hard to work with. When I saw this girl it totally reminded me of my 14-year-old niece, Mia. So I just had to make her this card. :) For the background on this card I really wanted to emboss it but I didn't like how any of them looked so I decided instead to go with some bright pink tulle . I love how it looks and it gives it so much texture. :) I added Stickles to her arm to look like the jelly bracelets that Mia loves to wear and then I made a very small skull from the same cartridge to add to the front of her shirt.
The stamp is from My Pink Stamper Stamps. I stamped it twice to make it look like vibrations from the guitar.
and this is the inside. I used my Treading Water punch. I love how this came out! Hope you enjoy and have a great day!

"Nuts About You!" ~ Paper Cutz Challenge #53

This card is for the Paper Cutz Challenge. You could use any cartridge, or colors you wanted but you had to use a digital, hand-stamped or Cricut cut image of a monkey, skunk, squirrel, or hedgehog.
So for this card I picked a squirrel from Create a Critter. I love how stinkin' cute she is!
I inked around the images, embossed the sky and the nuts (the nuts are from my box of mis-cuts so I can't remember what cartridge they are from.), punched the bottom edge with my Treading Water Punch, added Purple Stickles to the holes, ribbon from Michael's, and the sentiment is from my computer.
I really love how this came out! I hope you all enjoy and have a great day!

PKS Challenge #34 ~ Poodle Birthday Card

This 5x5 card is my take on the Peachy Keen Sketch challenge. I had so much fun making this card! The poodle is cut from the Create a Critter cartridge at 3 1/2in., the borders were done with my Treading Water punch.

For the face I used my Peachy Keen Critter Face Set Medium(PK-754), I added fruit punch Stickles in her fur, and bling in the bows.
I think she is so darn cute!!

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. Thess are such cute stamps! Hope you enjoyed the card and have a great day!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #36 ~ Birthday Card

I made this card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge. For this challenge all you had to do was make a teenager Birthday card and this is what I came up with. For this card I used my brand new Hannah Montana cartridge I got last week but hadn't gotten a chance to use. :) The butterfly was cut at 3 1/4 in although I wish now I would have cut it smaller. I glimmer misted the pink layer, added ribbon from Michael's, and embossed the mat with Swiss Dots.

The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Stamps, and the "bling" is from Scrapbuck.com
This is the second one I made. I made this card with a monochromatic theme. I've never made a card like this before and it was a lot harder then I thought it would be. For this card I glimmer misted again, added Stickles, embossed the mat with Floral Fantasy, and added a sheer ribbon from my stash. Hope you enjoy and have a great day.

Have a Blast ~ Birthday Card

This is a Birthday card I made for my brother in-law. I didn't want to make it look girly so I kept it really simple. The rocket is from " Just Because Cards" cartridge and I'm thinking I cut it at 8in. I added some "man ribbon" aka hemp, faux stitching, and the sentiment is from my computer. This card only took me start to finish 10 min. Hope you enjoyed my super simple card. Have a great day! :)

Momo's Tuesday Challenge ~ Thanks a Bunch Card

This card is for the challenge going on over at Momo's. The theme this week is "Flower Shower," so basically your card just has to have flowers in it.
This is a tall card that fits in a business envelope. For this card I inked up some plain white flowers that I had laying around. I used ric-rac for the stems. The paper is from Flower Shower Spring Stack by DCWV. The vase was an image I had cut wrong along time ago and just saved so I'm not sure what size or cartridge it came from although it did have a handle that I just cut off. It was embossed with Floral Fantasy and the sentiment was printed off my computer. Hope all enjoy and have a great day. :)

It's Your Day ~ Birthday Card

This card was made for my oldest brother for his Birthday. This card is a regular A2 sized card. I used the Celebrations Cartridge and cut the "It's Your Day" at 4in. To embellish I added hemp, buttons and some faux stitching.

This is the inside of the card. The sentiment came from the dollar bin at Michael's and again I added more faux stitching. I hope you enjoy and have a great day!
