Home For The Holidays ~ Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

Welcome to Whimsical Wednesday. Before I get to my project I want to let you know that today is my last day as a Whimsical Wednesday designer and although I am really sad to say goodbye to such wonderful design sisters. I am very excited for what the new year will bring in the crafting world. :)

Today's challenge is to create a

"Winter or Christmas theme home decor project."

For my project I made a Christmas present centerpiece for my kitchen table.

The tag was cut from the Cricut Very Merry tags cartridge and stamped with "No Peeking" from Stephanie's "Snow Much Fun" stamp set. To top it off I made a bow out of ribbon.

Here is a close up of the tag and the super cute sentiment. :)

Here is a close up of the bow with a snowflake brad.

Scraptastic Mondays!

Good morning everyone and welcome to another Scraptastic Monday!
Today's challenge is "Winter Wonderland." Create a card or project with a snowman or snow flake and have a winter wonderland theme. I want to remind everyone that although the DT is using Cindy's adorable digis, you do not have to. We want this challenge to be open to everyone so you may use your Cricut or other digis to enter the challenge as long as you follow the challenge theme.

For my card I used Cindy's "Friendly Snowman" image. (You can find it HERE.) I colored him with my Bic markers and added Stickles. For the background paper I used my Martha Stewart Punch and layered it to give it a great texture. Last but not least the sentiment is from Stephanie at Whimsical Designs new stamp set called "Snow Much Fun". (You will find them HERE.)

Whimsical Designs Stamp Release Blog Hop

Welcome to our Whimsical Designs Stamp Release blog hop. If you came here from the very talented Karen then you are in the right spot but if you just happened to swing by then you will want to start at the beginning at Whimsical Designs so as not to miss out on any of the amazing projects or blog candy.

I am so excited to be showing you some of the projects I've made using Stephanie's wonderful stamps. I had so much fun playing with them and I love how beautifully they stamp!!

For my first project I made a card for my friend that just had a baby. I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities ( Label 17 ) to cut the beautiful background shape. The cute little stork was cut from the Cricut Lite "Sugar and Spice" cartridge. To finish it off I added black crinkle ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the "Whimsical Fun Vol 1" set on to glitter paper.

For this project I chose to do a layout. on this project the stamps are "Elves at Work!" and "No Peeking" both of these sentiments are from the "Snow Much Fun" set.
The cartridges I used are: Paper Doll Dress Up, Winter Frolic, Create a Critter, and Freshly Picked.

Here is my last project. For this card the adorable cake was cut from the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge. I added crinkle ribbon, Stickles, and white gel pen. For the sentiment I used "Everyday Sentiments". I hope you enjoyed my project. I can't wait to see what I will create when you buy Stephanie's stamps. I know you're going to love them as much as I do!!
Now you are off to the wonderful Margie
