Snowman Card ~ From the Snow Friends Cartridge

I created this card for 2 challenges that I have never participated in before. (i'm trying to branch out.) :-) The first is E.A.D. Designs Color Challenge, and the second is a sketch challenge at Card Patterns sketch #90.

I'm totally loving this card! My niece lives in Hawaii and I think this card is just perfect to send her for Christmas. The bright colors and the happy little snowman make me smile every time I see it. :)

Paper: From my scraps

Punches: 1in & 1 1/2in

Embossing: Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder & white heat embossing

Embellishment: Orange gems with i-rock, Stickles, black gel pen

I made this card for Mary over at Cardz tv to thank her for the "Snow Friends" Cartridge. I embossed the mat with Swiss Dots, used my Martha Stewart Quilt Punch on the border, and pink ribbon with silver snowflakes. Hope you enjoy and Have a great day!

Snowmen From the Snow Friends Cartridge

Yesterday I was so excited to play with my new cartridge but I couldn't decided which snowman I wanted to make a card with first, so I decided to just make all 10 of the snowmen instead and figure out what to do with them later. :)

All of them came out so stinkin' cute! I had so much fun. All 10 snowmen were cut at 3 1/4 in and so were all of their accessories, except for their faces, those were so small that I chose to use Stickles and just do it feel hand. The pink snowman had a swirl shirt that just wouldn't cut out right so I decided to emboss it with swirls instead.

These are the last of them. This is such a great cartridge. Most of the snowmen have very few layers and they are pretty easy to work with, the faces were the hardest part for me which is why I chose not to cut them out. I hope you all enjoyed.
