Welcome to our Whimsical Wednesday challenge.
Todays challenge is “No Tricks, Just Treats”. You will need to create a bag, box, or some fun way to wrap up treats.
This challenge was so much fun to do that I decided to make 2 projects. :)
For my first project I decided to make a gift for my daughter’s dance person, Miss Lisa. The milk carton is a cut file I got from “The Cutting Cafe” but instead of cutting out the image that came with it I decided to cover my milk carton with some Halloween scraps.
Here on the side you can see the I used my embossing pen again. I picked out the vampire to do the embossing on.
I also used the pen on the bat border. I love how the embossing made it pop. The twine I used is Trendy Twine from Annie's Paper Boutique .
Here is a close up of the front. The tag is also from “The Cutting Cafe” and popped up on foam tape. That cute little pumpkin is a Martha Stewart stamp that I heat embossed. Now on to my second project.
After seeing the milk carton my daughter asked if we could make some little purses of her friends in the nieborhood. The purses were cut fom the Cricut “Plantin Schoolbook” cartridge and filled with some cute little goodies. These were finished off with a sentiment tag also from “The Cutting Cafe” that I tied on with Tinsel Ribbon from Prairie Bird Boutique .
Here is a close up of the tag.
I hope you enjoyed my project and can’t wait to see what fun projects you come what with.
