Ladybug Scrapbook Pages

Hello and welcome!! Today is our first Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. We will be having these challenges every week with each challenge staying open for two weeks!! You will love the themes they are so fun, and a scrap booking challenge the first Wednesday of the month.
for this weeks challenge the theme is:
"Spring or Easter Layout with a critter or insect incorporated on the LO."

For this LO I used glitter card stock to cut the title at 1.25 in using the "Ashlynn's Alphabet" cartridge. The leaves were cut from the "Don Juan" cartridge at 2.5 in and the ladybug was cut from the "Doodlecharms" cartridge (but I forgot to write down the size.)

The lady bug I used for the journaling tag was also cut from the "Paisley" cartridge.
It was cut on RDS at 3.75in for the black layer, 2.5in for the red layer and the white layer was cut by hand at 2.25in (I couldn't get my center point to cut this layer out right.)
The polka dot flower is from Doodle Bug Designs.

The extras on this 2 page LO are: white gel pen, green gel pen, ribbon, stickers, and black Stickles on the ladybug and title.

I hope you get a chance to play along. To take a peek at the fabulous layouts the other DT team members have come up with swing on over to the
You will find all the information about the challenge there.

  5. This is so adorable!! [your daughter and the lo] (I do not know why, but it made me think of how much my grand daughter loves watermelon) Thanks for letting me know that this cute ladybug is on the paisley cart, I got it recently but have not played with it yet. I think that you did a great job with the selection of the paper too!! And would yo believe it if I said I have never used the center point feature on my E?

  8. What an adorable LO! Love that font on that cart, just may have to get that one. All the little lady bugs are adorable, and how creative to use one as a journaling tag. Some of the cuts on the Paisley cart is tricky. It looks like (in the hand book) that certain parts are suppose to be layers, but there not they are actually a button. Took me forever to figure that out. So you have to play around to make them fit! Such a fun choice of papers, and your pictures are so adorable too!
