Welcome to our Whimsical Wednesday Challenge!

Today's challenge is ~ Fun With Color

This week at Whimsical Wednesday's we are having a color challenge and have a photo for inspiration. We all had to use the colors Yellow and Red and then we could chose another color/colors from the photo on our card/project.

The picture below is the inspiration picture.

For my card I decided to go with the colors Red, Yellow, and White.

The flower was cut from the "Paisley" cartridge" The yellow section was embossed with CB's Polka Dot folder and the red sections was embossed with the Swiss Dots folder. I added red and white twine and a polka dot button and the border punch is Fiskar's "Threading Water". Also the white bling in the center of the flower is I-Rock.

To get all the detail about the challenge and to see what the other wonderful DT members have made head on over to the Whimsical Wednesday Blog.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Not only are the flowers gorgeous but the embossing detail on the flowers. The twine really draws your eye & that button is just a perfect touch. Your hand stitching is also a pretty addition. Truly wonderful!

I am in love with this card. The twine and that little yellow button are the perfect accents for it. I am going to have to have that border punch. It has so many possibilities. I just cannot believe all of the stitching you did on it. It really makes the card even more vibrant!!
