Baby Girl Card ~ Cricut 3 Birds On Parade

Dear craft friends,

Hope you are all having a great Sunday! It is cold and snowy here in Northern Utah. :( Since I don't like snow that means I have plenty of time to play in my craftroom. YAY!! :)

Today I am bringing you a Baby Girl card. So many of my friends have just had little girls or are about to have little girls so I made a bundle of these little cuties.  If you have followed my blog in the past this might look familiar, almost 5 years ago I made a large bundle of  Baby Boy cards for a swap I was going to. You can see that post HERE They were a huge hit and I still had tons of the Pattern paper left over. So why not made a girl version. :)

Card Recipe:

Card Size: A2 4.25 x 5.5

Cricut Cartridge: 3 Birds On Pareade pg # 31

Papers: Recollections, pink mat, & kraft base and mat, Stamping Station Baby moon&Stars

Embossing: The paper Studio, Tiny Stars

Extras: Stampin' Ups Close To Cocoa, White Jelly roll pen, Cotton Candy Stickles, Corner rounder

I hope you enjoyed my card and have a great day!!

Baby Bottle Card ~ New Arrival Cricut Cartridge

Hello Crafty Friends,
One of my goals for 2016 is to use my older Cricut cartridges. I blog-stalk tons of paper crafters and something that I've noticed especially in the last couple of years is that most crafters don't use their older cartridges anymore. Well, I have lots of the older cartridges (and not so many of the new ones) so I am going to try to use the older ones at least once a week and hopefully more than that.

I made this card for my SIL, she had the most perfect little girl a few days ago.

I am entering this in DoubleClick Skittles Challenge ~ Anything goes

Card Recipe Is:

Size:A2 4.25x5.5

Cricut Cartridge: New Arrival, Baby bottle pg 108

Border Punch: Martha Stewart Scallop 3 dot (I covered the last row of holes)

Papers: MME Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Die: Spellbinders Scallop Circle (I used a hole punch to punch the extra holes)

Stamp: Inkadinkado Welcome Baby

Embossing: Cuttlebug Polka Dots

I hope you enjoyed my project and have a great day!!

Whimsical Designs Stamp Release Blog Hop

Welcome to our Whimsical Designs Stamp Release blog hop. If you came here from the very talented Karen then you are in the right spot but if you just happened to swing by then you will want to start at the beginning at Whimsical Designs so as not to miss out on any of the amazing projects or blog candy.

I am so excited to be showing you some of the projects I've made using Stephanie's wonderful stamps. I had so much fun playing with them and I love how beautifully they stamp!!

For my first project I made a card for my friend that just had a baby. I used my new Spellbinders Nestabilities ( Label 17 ) to cut the beautiful background shape. The cute little stork was cut from the Cricut Lite "Sugar and Spice" cartridge. To finish it off I added black crinkle ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the "Whimsical Fun Vol 1" set on to glitter paper.

For this project I chose to do a layout. on this project the stamps are "Elves at Work!" and "No Peeking" both of these sentiments are from the "Snow Much Fun" set.
The cartridges I used are: Paper Doll Dress Up, Winter Frolic, Create a Critter, and Freshly Picked.

Here is my last project. For this card the adorable cake was cut from the Cricut Simply Charmed cartridge. I added crinkle ribbon, Stickles, and white gel pen. For the sentiment I used "Everyday Sentiments". I hope you enjoyed my project. I can't wait to see what I will create when you buy Stephanie's stamps. I know you're going to love them as much as I do!!
Now you are off to the wonderful Margie

Sugar and Spice ~ Baby Boy Card

Over the weekend I went to my very first card swap. For the card swap we got to pick from several different categories which card we wanted to make and then we had to make 20 of those cards. For my card I decided to make a " New Baby Boy" card. (I am obsessed with anything baby boy right now.)

For this card I cut the giraffe from the Cricut Lite "Sugar And Spice" cartridge. I decided not to cut the face that comes with it thinking that I would use my PK faces instead but unfortunately I couldn't find my black ink to stamp the faces so I just used googly eyes and hand drew the mouth. The 2 ovals were cut from "Plantin Schoolbook". The stamp came from Michael's dollar bin and I used my circle punches to cut them out. To make it pop I embossed with the CB "Polka dots" folder, added orange Stickles, and stitched with a gel pen.
Here they are all together. I hope you enjoyed and have great day!

New Baby Card ~ Using Everyday Paper Dolls

I made this card for 2 challenges. The first is Peachy Keen's Tuesday challenge and the second is Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge.
For the PK challenge you had to follow a sketch and use a monochromatic color scheme. For Emma's challenge you had to use either one of the Paper Doll cartridges and embossing.
( I ended up adding buttons to the clothes but forgot to take another picture.)
I hope you enjoy and have a great day. :)
Recipe:

Cartridge: Everyday Paper Dolls
Embossing Folder: CB Spots and Dots
Sentiment: From my computer
Punch: MS Quilt Punch
Stamp: Peachy Keens TMF (retired)

Another Thank You Baby Card

Here is yet another thank you baby card.
(I know you guys must be getting tired of these as I pretty much use the same paper on each of them but I think this one will be my last one.)
I made this one for my awesome sister in-law! She is always willing to help with anything I need and I am very grateful for her. :)

The baby stamp is from Stampin' Up, Baby Firsts. I colored him in with my Bic Markers and used peach chalk on his face.

The sentiment is from both Scrappy Moms Stamps and My Pink Stamper. I stamped "A sweet" from SMS (It said "A sweet hello" but I taped off the hello part.) and "Thank you" from MPS.

I hope you enjoy and have a great day! :)

Paper Playtime Challenge #18 ~ Showering Thanks Upon You

Wow, It's been crazy here for the last two weeks. I have been so tired I have chosen to sleep instead of crafting. Crazy huh? Well today I finally started feeling human again and had enough energy I decided to make a card. This is a "Thank You" card for my neighbor who brought over a baby gift for our new bundle of joy. I also made this card for the challenge going on over at Paper Playtime. The umbrella is from Create a Critter and the tag is from Tags,Bags,Boxes and More.

Have a great day!

Also, don't forget about the Halloween Blog Hop
Oct. 1-3
Lots of candy and inspiration!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge - Baby Card

This card was made for Emma's Challenge at My Creative Time. The cartridge requested by Emma was "New Arrival." I do not have this cartridge so I used my oldest cartridge with a baby theme, Doodlecharms, for the images. For the words I used the cartridge, All Mixed Up. Finally, for the face I used my Peachy Keen Princess Face Assortment stamps.

I learned how to make this card from Mary at Cardztv. She has a video which explains in great detail how to make a trifold card like this. For the baby bottle I cut it out at 1.5 inches. The teddy bear was cut at 2.5 inches. The baby face was cut at 2.5 inches as well. I then added faux stitching, buttons, and Stickles to add pizazz to the card.
