"Au Natural" 8.5x11 Layout ~ Paper Variety Circle Challenge

Today I've created a 2-page 8.5x11 scrapbook layout that I'll be entering into the challenge going on over at The Paper Variety.

"Au Natural" My baby taking a bath in the kitchen sink.

Page one.
For this layout I cut the film strip from the "Mickey and Friends" cartridge. The pattern paper came from DCWV's "Dots, Stripes, and Plaids" stack. The circles were punched with a 3/8 punch and I added green buttons.

The blue paper was embossed with CuttleBug's "Spots and Dots" folder and the Title was embossed with CB "Swiss Dots" folder. I also added more circle buttons. :)

Here are both of the 8.5 x 11 pages together.
I hope you enjoyed and have a great day. :)

Whimsical Wednesday Card Challenge

Welcome to another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge.

This week both card teams have come together for our challenge, to make get well cards for a very special little boy. Angelo, who is the grandson of Margie from Bella Bug Creations, is going through a very difficult time right now. He underwent brain surgery last week and will begin chemotherapy next week. You can read more about Angelo at this post over at Margie's blog http://bellabugcreations.blogspot.com/2011/06/angelo.html. We hope that you will all join us and make a card for Angelo too.

For my card I asked my boys what they would like to see on a get well card if they were to receive one and 2 out of the 3 said they would like a car or truck so that is what I went with.

The truck and and green hills were cut from my “Mickey and Friends” cartridge and the road was cut from my “Everyday Paper Dolls” cartridge. I embossed the yellow piece on the truck with my CB Diamond Plate embossing folder and doodled with my white gel pen. I kept this card very simple since it is for a little boy. :)

The sentiment was printed off of my computer and says

“Sending a truck load of Get Well Wishes.”

I hope you enjoyed my card for Angelo and can’t wait to see what you all will come up for him. To see what the other wonderful members of Whimsical Wednesday have come up with click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hello everyone and welcome to our Kids Craft Blog Hop!!! We are so excited you are joining us today!!! My kids have had so much fun creating projects to share with you.
If you came from Amber at Staying Crafty then you are on the right spot, but if you just happened to start with me, then make sure you start with Jen the Purple Scrapbooker and hostess of this wonderful hop.

Today I have 3 of my kids participating in the hop. The first is my 9-year -old daughter.

Here she is gluing down her title.

The next is my 9-year-old son. Here he is taking his image off the mat.

The last is my 7-year-old son. Here he is using the Cricut.

This is the completed scrapbook page my Daughter made.
For her LO she used the "Rock Princess" cartridge for the "Too Hot 2 Handle" and for the title "Cousins" she used "A Child's Year". The extras used were a white gel pen. Gold Stickles and a MS quilt punch.

This is the completed card my 9-year-old son made for his best friend's Birthday.
For his card he used the "Micky And Friends" cartridge for the T.v. and the "Happy Birthday" was cut from "Create A Critter". He used black buttons for the knobs on the t.v. and CB Happy Birthday embossing folder.

Here is the completed bookmark my 7-year-old son made.
For his bookmark he used the "B is For Boy" cartridge, CB Swiss dot embossing folder, and MS glitter marker.

Here are all 3 together. :) My kids had so much fun playing in this hop and hope you enjoy their creations and have a great day. :)
