Harvest Card ~ Speaking Of Fall

This card was made using "Speaking Of Fall" cartridge. I cut the image at 4in., Embossed the purple strip with my swiss dots cuttlebug folder, and used my gel pen to add some detail.

The sentiment is from PINK CRICUT Pink By Design stamps: "May the bounty of the season fill your hearts and homes."
I just bought my first 2 stamp sets from her and I have been loving them! She has so many cute sayings and fonts on all of her stamps.

I hope you enjoy and have a great day! :)

Vampire Halloween Card

Here is a quick card I made using a 1.00 stamp from Michael's, Martha Stewart Drippy Goo Punch, red stickles, and ribbon also from Michael's. I love how it came out and hope you also enjoy. :)

I'd also Like to give a shout out to Joanna from Scrap-Making for reminding me how much I love making cards and layouts using things other then my Cricut.
She has been making some really cute cards over at her blog with E.A.D. Stickerz and after seeing them I realized that I have stopped making things with anything other then my Cricut. So I am going to try and make something at least once a week using my stamps, stickers, or rub-ons. in place of a Cricut cut. :) This may prove to be a little hard as I am totally in love with my Cricut and also I have way more Cricut images then I do stamps and things but I'm still going to give it a try.
I hope you all have a great night and I'll see you tomorrow with another great non-Cricut card. :)

The monster was made using basic shapes. circles, triangles, and rectangles.
I hope you enjoy and have a great day. :)

Pay It Forward Fridays Challenge #3 ~ Cupcake Card

I made this card for the challenge going on over at Love 4 Stamps. For this challenge you needed to make a card for a child and and it had to have any shade of pink and green. I chose to use the cupcake from Once Upon A Princess Cartridge, I added fruit punch stickles to the cherry, used my cream colored pearl pen from Viva Decor, and the sentiment is from SMS.
I kept this really simple since it's for my little Niece. I hope you enjoy and have a great day. :)

Throwback Thursday Challenge - Monkey Card

This is a 5.5 x 5.5 square card that I made for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge. For info on this challenge please swing by her blog.

I cut the cute little money from Create A Critter cartridge at 4in and stamped the face with Peachy Keens Critter Faces Medium set.

(I placed the flower rub on way too close to the sentiment.)

The sentiment on the inside of the card was printed off my computer and says "Just swingin' by with a thank you and a hi". This card is also a thank you card for I friend of mine that gave us the cutest little monkey outfit for our new baby.
Hope you enjoy and have a great day. :)

"Spooky" Halloween card ~ Pumpkin Carving Cartridge

This is a 5.5 x 5.5 square card. This card was made completely from scraps. (I seem to have a lot of them lately.)
I cut the image from the Pumpkin Carving Cartridge in black at 5in. and then just added different colored pieces of paper to the back. The sentiment is from a pack of rub-ons.
I added a tons of stitching to this card but I still think it came out kind cute. :)
I hope you enjoy and have a great day!

Another Thank You Baby Card

Here is yet another thank you baby card.
(I know you guys must be getting tired of these as I pretty much use the same paper on each of them but I think this one will be my last one.)
I made this one for my awesome sister in-law! She is always willing to help with anything I need and I am very grateful for her. :)

The baby stamp is from Stampin' Up, Baby Firsts. I colored him in with my Bic Markers and used peach chalk on his face.

The sentiment is from both Scrappy Moms Stamps and My Pink Stamper. I stamped "A sweet" from SMS (It said "A sweet hello" but I taped off the hello part.) and "Thank you" from MPS.

I hope you enjoy and have a great day! :)

Peachy Keen Challenge #38 October Inspiration ~ Halloween Goody Box

For the challenge going on over at Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge you had to make an October inspired project, but it could not be a card. For my entry I decided to make a goody box for my son's Kindergarten Teacher. The candy corn girl is cut from "Mini Monsters" cartridge. For the face I used Peachy Keen's "Princess Face Assortment" stamps.
Sorry for the smudges on the yellow piece. My 3-year-old was so excited after I made this that she grabbed it with her mac and cheese fingers before I could take a picture. (This one will be going to her and I'll make a new one for the teacher at nap time.)

The trick or treat bag is a sticker I put on card stock and then cut out.

Here is a side view. The triangle box is from "Tags, Bags, Boxes & More" cartridge.

I hope you enjoy and have a great day!

Cardz Tv: Create-A-Card Challenge

At Cardz TV Mary is challenging us to do a card without using our Cricut. I decided to make a tri-fold triangle Halloween card.

This challenge was great for me as I have all these stickers and rub-ons that have taken the backseat seat since I got my Cricut. :)

The "Spooktacular" is a glitter rub-on from K & Company. These are so cool that I even gave a pack away as part of my Halloween Blog Hop candy. :)

The Pumpkin and spiders are also rub-ons but from "Me and My Big Ideas."

I added stiching and the little web strings with my Black gel pen.

The band is made with a 1/34 in circle punch and orange grosgrain ribbon. The bags are stickers from "All My Memories"

I love how fast this card came together and hope you enjoy it as well.
Have a great day!

Halloween Blog Hop- Day 3 ~*~ Candy Jar

Wow, I can't believe it's the last day of the blog hop. I have had so much fun! Thank you to all the ladies for making my first Blog Hop so easy and fun!!

For this project I decided to make a homework treat jar.
For every answer my kids get right without help in math and spelling they get a little treat. At this time of year it happens to be candy corn. But instead of the usual plastic mixing bowl to put the candy in I decided to alter an old peanut butter tub.

For the lid I cut the image from the Pumkin Carving cartridge and layered it on a yellow circle then added white stitching.

The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I taped off the "candy" part and stamped the "I want" then I washed the stamp and taped it off a again and stamped just the "candy" part. To make the candy shaped tag I just cut a rectangle at 1.50 in wide and punched all the corners with Martha Stewarts Optic Dot corner punch.
The kids love the candy corn and I love how it looks on the counter :)

Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win the candy. I'll be announcing the winner on Monday. :)

Halloween Blog Hop- Day 2 ~*~ Spinner Card

Thanks for coming back to Day 2 of the Halloween Blog Hop.
Today I decided to create my very first Spinner card. I had so much fun making this card and my 3-year-old daughter thinks it's the coolest card she's ever seen! She laughs every time the little pumpkin spins across it. :)

This card is a business sized card. I cut the pumpkin from the Doodlecharms Cartridge at 3in. The face is stamped using Peachy Keens Monsters 'n More face stamps (they are retired.) The sentiment is "The Smallest Pumpkins Have The Biggest Grins" from Scrappy Moms stamps and heat embossed with white.
I hope you enjoy the card and have a great day!!
Don't forget to leave a comment to be entered to win the candy. :)

Halloween Blog Hop- Day 1 (Jewelry Set)

Welcome To Our Halloween Blog Hop!

A few weeks ago my daughter asked me if I could make her some Halloween jewelry to wear.

I made her this cute little ghost necklace and earring set. I cut the ghosts from the "Cloud 9 Design" seasonal paper pack with a 1in paper punch then glued them on to circle charms cut from " Mini Monograms" cartridge at 1.25 in. I went around the edge with black Stickels then coated the whole thing with glossy accents.

She loved it so much that she decided we needed to make some earrings for her best friend.
After making the earrings we made a gift bag from "Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More" and added the cute little pumpkin to the front form "Pumpkin
Carvings" cartridge. The face is from Peachy Keen's "Princess Face Assortment".

The spider earrings are from "Cloud 9 Design" seasonal paper pack. I just punched them out with a 1in paper punch, traced the spiders with black Stickels, and added glossy accents.

I hope you've been enjoying the hop.
To be entered to win the blog candy all you have to do is is leave a comment under this post. I will be announcing the winner on Monday the 4th. You'll have 3 chances to win if you leave a comment under each post for the next 3 days. :)
