I also made this card for the challenge going on over at Paper Playtime. The umbrella is from Create a Critter and the tag is from Tags,Bags,Boxes and More.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #42 ~ Halloween Card

This card was made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge. For this card I chose to use the Wild Card cartridge for the actual card and then I used the Pumpkin Carving cartridge I got from Jen at Purple Scrapbooker for the vampire. The red in the eyes is just from a hole punch. I am really loving this cartridge for its simple and fast images.
The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I punched the paper with the new paper punch Drippy Goo from Martha Stewart. My husband got it for me last week and this is the first I've gotten to use it. :)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great hump day!

Paper Playtime Challenge #16 ~ It's the shoes that make the outfit!

I made this card for the Paper Playtime Challenge. For this challenge I really wanted to do witch boots but I don't have the Happy Hauntings Cartridge so I decided to just make my own. The boots are cut from the Storybook cartridge, they are actually the letter 'L'. After I cut them out I just trimmed them up a little to get the look I was going for. I added pewter eyelets and yellow ribbon for the laces.

The sentiment was printed from my computer and inked up, I also added green polka dot ribbon and white stitching. I love how this came out!! I hope you all enjoy and have a great day. :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #41 ~ Fall Card

This card was made for the Cricut Cardz Challenge. You were not allowed to use the colors Yellow, orange, or brown. So I decided to make my card with black, white, green, and red. This is made with the card feature on Stretch Your Imagination.

The sentiment is from a stamp set my Mom got me for my birthday about 5 years ago that I have never used. It's called "The Attic Collection" from Nostalgiques. I hope you all enjoy and have a great day. :)

Whimsical Wednesday challenge ~ Mini Monsters

I made this card for the "Whimsical Wednesday Challenge" going on over at Always Crafting.
For this challenge they wanted you to use the Mini Monsters cartridge or if you don't have it just make a Halloween or Fall themed project. I cut the spider at 4.25in on my gypsy using the hide contour feature to remove all of the cut marks, I added googlie eyes, heat embossed the smile, and used a hole punch for the cheeks. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps,The "A haunting we will go" set, and I punched the corners with my Martha Stewart Quilt corner punch.I think she came out so super cute! I hope you enjoy and have a great Monday! :)

My Pink Stampers September 11th Challenge

I made this card for the challenge going on over at My Pink Stamper. The reason I chose to do this card is that one of my biggest memories as a child is when my mom took us out to the big tree in our front yard and had all the children tie yellow ribbons on the branches while she sang "Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree." When I asked her why we were tying the ribbons on the tree she said is was to support my oldest brother while he was off fighting in Desert Storm, and to let people know he is out there and we're praying for him to come home safe.
He did come home safe and I am so proud of him and his wife and also for my other brother and his wife for serving our country and trying to keep us safe.

The tree was cut from Paper Doll Dress Up, cut at 4in., The grass was cut from the same cart. with fit to length at 5 3/4, The leaves are from Speaking Of Fall at 1in and at 1 1/2 in. The sentiment is from MPS Stamps.
I hope you all enjoy and have a great Sunday. :)

Cardz T.v. Halloween Challenge

I made this card last night for the Halloween Challenge going on over at Cardz Tv. I wanted to enter this challenge days ago but decided to wait for my Mini Monsters cartridge to arrive so I could use this super adorable hat.

I stamped the sentiment on the hat using my new Scrappy Mom stamps, "A haunting we will go." The ribbon is from Michael's, and I added Stickles. I love how this turned out. I hope you all enjoy and have a great Saturday! :)

A non Cricut card!

First off I want to thank Tangee from Kricut Krazy for leading me to Tuesday Morning. I had never been there before and had no intention of ever going there until she did a video of all the great stuff she got. It turns out that we have a Tuesday Morning right here in town. :) I got 3 packs of paper and some awesome ribbon. One of the packs had this amazing raised and flocked paper and I just had to make something with it right away. :)
This is what I came up with.
Hope you enjoy and have a great day. :)

Joker Birthday Card ~ Batman:The Brave and the Bold

I made this card for my Nephew's Birthday. The Joker was cut at 4.25 in and so was the brick background. Instead of cutting out the top layer of the bricks I just ran a sharpie really quick over the red layer. I then inked all around the bricks with some brown, gray, and black. I used a Martha Stewart glitter marker along the top of the green piece and also green Stickles on the eyes.

This is the inside of the card. I printed the sentiment from my computer.
This was really a simple card. I think is only took me around 15 min. to make. My boys absolutely loved it! I hope you also enjoy and have a great day. :)

Eat, Drink, and be Scary!

Here's a quick A2 sized Halloween card. The calderon was cut at 4in from the Oct. 31 seasonal cartridge. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms stamps. The back ground paper is from Cloud 9 Seasonal pack and the eyeballs in the calderon are from Cloud 9 specialty pack. I inked up the calderon with Martha Stewart ink, added Stickles to the spoon handle, and glossy accents to the light gray part. Hope you all enjoy and have a great Labor day!!

Rock Princess ~ "Rock On" Card

I made this card for my little brother that just turned 24 the other day. The second I saw this image on the Rock Princess cartridge I knew I was going to use is on a card for him. He is currently sporting a blue Mohawk and that what inspired the the colors for this card.
For the "Rock On" I used the Blackletter cartridge because it his favorite Font. I outlined the sentiment with my blue glitter Martha Stewart marker, then put everything on pop dots. We loved how this turned out and hope you also enjoy. Have a great Thursday!!
